Meet Dr. Vijay Bharti Dhingra
Dr. Vijay Bharti Dhingra (MBBS, DNB Psychiatry) is a Consultant Psychiatrist at Dimaagi Mind Care and Research Centre, Jammu, with more than 25 years of experience across clinical medicine, public health and government healthcare service.
He completed his MBBS in 2000 and served across diverse healthcare settings — including a notable tenure as a Medical Officer with the Border Roads Organisation — gaining extensive experience in clinical care, health administration, public-health delivery and community-level medical services. He went on to complete his DNB in Psychiatry through the Diplomate of National Board.
Dr. Dhingra's expertise covers psychiatric assessment, diagnosis and management of mental-health disorders, with a particular focus on addiction psychiatry and de-addiction services. He currently serves as Team In-Charge / Nodal Officer of the Addiction Treatment Facility at District Hospital Samba and District Hospital Reasi, leading evidence-based care for substance-use disorders and strengthening mental-healthcare access across Jammu and Kashmir. He consults at Dimaagi both online and in-clinic.
